Robert Cole
President
Robert Cole is co-owner of The Collaborative Companies and co-founder of Velocity Marketing. With over thirty years of experience in residential real estate, Cole began his career as an architect for Design Dexter in Manhattan and then joined Gilbert Charles Beylen, a leading residential marketing company for new construction in Manhattan. He joined The Collaborative Companies (TCC) in Boston as vice president in 1987 and became a partner in the company in 1994. In the early 1990s during TCC's joint venture with Kennedy Wilson, one of the largest real estate auction marketing firms in the world, Mr. Cole was the Director of East Coast Sales for Kennedy Wilson and head of the New York office. He has been involved in the sale of $2.5 billion worth of residential properties.
Today, Mr. Cole and Ms. Hawkes (link to Sue Hawke's bio) lead TCC's and Velocity's efforts in providing a wide range of marketing services to developers, financial institutions and real estate professionals in the design and implementation of both conventional and accelerated real estate marketing programs, as well as investor sales.
Mr. Cole received a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University; interned at The Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies in Manhattan; earned a Bachelor of Architecture from City University of New York (CUNY); and received a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Fordham University.
